The Center for International Youth Exchange (CENTERYE) was established in April 21, 1994 as a non-government non-profit organization engaged primarily in fostering young people who can take active roles in the globalizing society by implementing and organizing international youth exchange programs.@The CENTERYE is under the aegis of the Cabinet Office, Government of Japan.
GOAL
To nurture international-minded young people who are capable of carrying out leadership roles in various areas through enlightenment and information sharing; To establish networks and close collaboration among the youth leaders in Japan and from around the world;
ACTIVITIES
Through efficient management and organization of international youth exchanges, we aim to make the younger generation more responsive to the demands and challenges of a rapidly globalizing society and to support them in taking leadership roles in their respective fields by inculcating in them strong international sense and willingness to contribute to global welfare.

The Center for International Youth Exchange implements various activities in close partnership with the International Youth Exchange Organization of Japan (IYEO), which is the alumni association of former participants of international youth exchange programs that the Cabinet Office carries out. |
